As a wedding photographer, one of my biggest honours is being trusted to document such an intimate, emotional, and personal day. I know how much thought goes into every part of your wedding &ndash; and I believe your photos deserve that same care and respect, especially when it comes to your privacy.

While many couples love seeing their wedding day shared and celebrated, I also understand that not everyone feels the same. Some couples prefer to keep their photos completely private, and that is 100% okay.
&nbsp;
How I Handle Privacy
All of my wedding contracts include a model release, which gives me permission to share your photos on my website, social media, or other promotional materials. Being able to showcase my work publicly is a big part of how I connect with new couples, and I&rsquo;m incredibly grateful when I&rsquo;m trusted to do that.
&nbsp;
That said, your comfort and boundaries are always more important, and I offer flexible privacy options to suit your needs:
&nbsp;
Zero Share Policy
If you prefer that your wedding images are kept entirely private, I&rsquo;m more than happy to honour that. Your gallery will be securely delivered, and none of your photos will be posted anywhere online or in print.
&nbsp;
Selective Sharing
Some couples are comfortable with sharing their wedding images, but want to remain anonymous &ndash; and that is absolutely doable. You can choose:
<ul style="list-style-type: circle;">
<li style="text-align: left; font-size: 16px;">No photos of your faces (at all, or with the option to have faces included if from the side/head down etc.)</li>
<li style="text-align: left; font-size: 16px;">No mention of your names or identifying details in captions or blog posts</li>
<li style="text-align: left; font-size: 16px;">Keeping personal elements like seating charts, invitation suites, and name place cards private</li>
<li style="text-align: left; font-size: 16px;">Focusing the shared images on details, landscapes, or moments from the side or behind</li>
</ul>
&nbsp;
This way, your beautiful day can still be celebrated or published, without tying the images to you, your family, or your guests in any public way.
&nbsp;
Full Sharing with Flexibility
If you&rsquo;re comfortable with me sharing highlights from your wedding, thank you! I&rsquo;ll always do so with care and thoughtfulness. Full sharing typically includes your images being shared with all of your vendors - along with preferences for how they can use the images. Generally speaking, I ask that your vendors only use images for social media and websites, but require any print usage to be cleared with me first. And if you change your mind later on? Just send me a note &ndash; I&rsquo;ll take the images down, no questions asked.&nbsp; Please keep in mind that once additional vendors have been given the rights to share your images it makes it much harder to revoke the images later on - but all of your vendors will be extremely grateful for permission to share their work!

There&rsquo;s never an added cost for privacy. Whatever level of sharing you&rsquo;re comfortable with, I&rsquo;m here to support that fully. If you would like to remove the model release from your contract, just let me know at the time of signing! If anything has changed since you signed your contract &amp; model release, please get in touch!

A Note on AI
Your images are never shared for AI training. I use Adobe software for editing, and while Adobe may anonymously source data from edited files, this is done without linking images to any individual. If you have any questions about this, I&rsquo;m always happy to explain more.

Your Right to Privacy - A Note from Lindsay

On a crisp fall day, I had the pleasure of capturing Sandrine and George's engagement session in the enchanting town of Elora. Known for its picturesque landscapes and historic charm, Elora provided the perfect backdrop for the romantic, glowy photographs Sandrine envisioned.
We began our session at the Elora Gorge, one of my favorite spots in the area.
&nbsp;
The evergreen trees in Victoria Park created a timeless look to the photos, while still giving the warmth of fall. Sandrine and George trekked down to Lover's Leap, Sandrine&rsquo;s beautiful white dress and George&rsquo;s classic suit added an elegant contrast against the rugged landscape. The sunlight filtered through the trees, casting a warm, golden glow that added a magical touch to the images.
&nbsp;
As the sun began to set, we moved into the heart of Elora. The town's historic stone buildings and quaint streets offered a charming urban contrast to the natural beauty of the gorge. Sandrine changed into a stunning black dress, which made for a dramatic and sophisticated look against the cobblestone streets and warm lights of the town. We captured breathtaking twilight photos as the sun dipped below the horizon, with the soft, diffused light highlighting Sandrine and George's connection. The combination of the town's ambiance and the fading daylight resulted in images that are both intimate and timeless.

Reflecting on this session, I'm reminded of why I love photographing in Elora during the fall. The combination of natural beauty, historic charm, and the ever-changing light creates endless opportunities for capturing love in its most beautiful forms. Elora Gorge Engagement Session with Sandrine & George

On a crisp fall day, I had the pleasure of capturing Hannah and Jason's love in the charming town of Elora. Nestled in the heart of Ontario, Elora is a hidden gem known for its picturesque beauty, and it served as the perfect backdrop for this engagement session.

We started our day at the Elora Gorge, one of my favourite spots in the area. It's just outside of downtown Elora, so we're able to get a variety of backdrops - like my favourite venue, <a href="https://eloramill.ca/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Elora Mill,</a> within a short walk! The fall colours were showing off down in the gorge - and Hannah &amp; Jason were adventurous enough to walk out to the middle rocks for some gorgeous photos with the cliffside &amp; bridge behind them.

Hannah and Jason's choice of outfits was impeccable, to say the least. The couple chose a fall-inspired palette that blended perfectly with the surroundings. From cozy knit sweaters, to Jason's corduroy jacket - the textures and colours they chose were the perfect modern fall aesthetic.

The texture and colour of their outfits were a beautiful contrast against the stunning autumn backdrop. The rich hues of their outfits combined with the rustic charm of Elora created an atmosphere that was both intimate and beautiful. Their choice of clothing not only reflected their personal style but also their shared love for all things fall.

Twelve hours of coverage is perfect for couples with large families and bridal parties who may require some additional time or those with longer ceremonies or ceremonies at locations further from their reception. This collection includes 3 beautifully handcrafted lay-flat photobooks that are custom designed for you. These books are customized down to the exterior fabric (choose from linen, vegan leather and more) and include embossing. With three duplicate photobooks, you will have perfect heirlooms for yourselves, and each set of parents (additional books may be purchased at discounted rate). In addition to your handcrafted photobooks, you'll also receive 100 linen thank-you cards that can be customized with your choice of image &amp; text. Rush post production means your gallery is at the very top of our priority list, and you will have your full online gallery returned within one week! Engagement and anniversary sessions are both included in this collection as the perfect way to celebrate your marriage at every stage.

Collection One (12 Hours + Photobooks)

This package is perfect for couples who want all of their moments captured from getting ready until well-into dancing without feeling rushed for time. A second photographer will be present which is perfect when there are many moving parts happening at the same time and we don't want any of it missed. A beautiful custom USB and online gallery will provide the perfect place to safely store those beautiful memories. The highlight of this package (in addition to the relaxing schedule 10 hours will provide!) is the 20 preview images. These photos will be delivered to you within 2-3 days of your wedding, so you have something beautiful to post on social media right after your big day.

Collection Two (10 Hours + Preview Images)

8 hours of coverage is just enough to capture the essential moments of your day. Similar to the longer packages, a second photographer will be present for all hours of coverage, and an engagement session and online gallery are included as well. This collection is great for couples whose ceremonies &amp; reception are in the same location, and who don't require a lot of getting ready or reception coverage. Typical timelines for this package are 1-9pm or 2-10pm, but we will work with you to make the most of the time we have together to ensure all the most important parts of your day are covered.
